Job summary

Sunshine Manufacturing Sdn Bhd – Balakong, Selangor – seeks an Assistant Electrician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within our manufacturing facility.

You will perform basic wiring, conduit installation, and component connections from blueprints, conduct routine inspections, and safely use hand and power tools. Multilingual communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is valued for collaboration with the team.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment according to blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components and systems to identify and address potential issues.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task, for reporting purposes.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of new electrical technologies and safety procedures
