Job summary

Sunshine Manufacturing Sdn Bhd – Balakong, Selangor is seeking an Electrical Assistant to support senior electricians in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within our manufacturing facility. You will perform basic wiring, conduit installation, and component connections from blueprints while conducting routine inspections and safety-compliant tasks.

You will read electrical diagrams, follow technical manuals, and document findings.

Qualifications

Assist senior electricians in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Perform basic electrical wiring, conduit installation, and component connections according to blueprints and schematics.
Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical panels, circuits, and machinery to identify potential issues.
Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively for electrical tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Troubleshoot and diagnose simple electrical problems under supervision, documenting findings and actions taken.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
Familiarity with basic electrical codes and safety regulations is required.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
Willingness to learn and develop new electrical skills and techniques.
Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to collaborate with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

Assist senior electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment according to blueprints and technical diagrams.
Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components and systems to identify and address potential issues.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Respond to service calls and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions under supervision.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task, for reporting purposes.
Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of new electrical technologies and safety procedures
