Job summary

Sunshine Manufacturing Sdn Bhd – Balakong, Selangor is seeking an assistant electrician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within our manufacturing facility. You will work under supervision to learn wiring, conduit installation, and reading blueprints.

You should have good communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin; familiarity with basic electrical codes; and a willingness to learn new skills.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn basic electrical skills.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with basic electrical codes and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior electricians in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment according to blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Perform basic electrical wiring, conduit installation, and component connections.
• Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical panels, circuits, and machinery to identify potential issues.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively for electrical tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose simple electrical problems under supervision, documenting findings and actions taken.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
