Job summary

Sunshine Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Balakong, Selangor, is seeking a motivated junior electrician to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within our facility.

You will perform basic wiring, conduit work, inspections of panels and machinery, and use hand and power tools safely. Reading electrical diagrams and following safety regulations are essential. English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are preferred for team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
• Willingness to learn and develop new electrical skills and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior electricians in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment according to blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical components and systems to identify and address potential issues.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively for various electrical tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Respond to service calls and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions under supervision.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each task.
