Job summary

EY in Malaysia seeks an experienced enterprise risk professional to enhance governance, risk and compliance for client engagements. You will lead teams, shape risk strategies, and drive integrated risk programs across client organizations.

Travel to client sites is expected as you develop relationships and deliver risk-enabled solutions, from internal controls to governance frameworks, while mentoring junior consultants and collaborating with senior mentors.

Qualifications

• A recognized university degree in accounting, business, information technology, engineering, mathematics or other relevant discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant consulting or industry experience, preferably in a professional services environment or MNC.
• Strong understanding of risk management processes including risk identification, assessment and mitigation.
• Experience in developing risk governance structures and ensuring compliance across diverse environments.
• Experience engaging and managing stakeholders with ability to consult and develop remediation options.
• Understanding of reporting requirements and the integration of technology with business processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise teams through all project lifecycle phases.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Consistently deliver quality client services and manage expectations of service delivery.
• Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
• Monitor progress, manage risk and keep stakeholders informed about progress and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and EY stakeholders.
• Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
• Remain current on developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
• Provide constructive on-the-job feedback and mentoring to junior consultants.
