Job summary

HAVI TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Enterprise Network Security Architect to lead the architectural design for global secure networks and Zero Trust implementations. You will own blueprints, guardrails, and vendor governance across multi-cloud environments and offices, while day-to-day firewall work is managed by partners.

Reporting to the CISO, you will drive security strategy, collaborate with IT infrastructure teams and business units, and help shape the future of HAVI's supply chain

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of network security engineering and architecture experience in global enterprise environments.
• Technical mastery of SASE, ZTNA, SD-WAN, micro-segmentation, cloud VNets, and hybrid connectivity.
• Vendor oversight: designing architecture guardrails for outsourced partners and managed security services.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP security, IPsec, TLS, DNSSEC, NGFW (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point), and WAF solutions.
• Leadership to drive network security strategy across IT, vendors and business units.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outsourced network security operations and vendor governance.

About The Role

We are looking for an Enterprise Network Security Architect to join our TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur!

As HAVI expands its global distribution network, integrating cloud-native infrastructures with legacy network edges and outsourced network security operations, maintaining a resilient, Zero Trust network posture is critical.Reporting directly to the CISO, you will serve as the strategic technical authority for enterprise network defense. While day-to-day firewall administration and network monitoring are managed by outsourced partners, you will own the architectural blueprints, technical guardrails, vendor governance, and Zero Trust implementation across global offices, warehouses, and multi-cloud environments.

The Skills

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

• Experience: 4-6 years of experience in network security engineering and architecture within complex, global enterprise environments.
• Architectural Frameworks: Technical mastery of SASE, ZTNA, SD-WAN, micro-segmentation, cloud virtual networks (AWS VPCs / Azure VNets), and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute / Direct Connect).
• Vendor & Managed Service Oversight: Proven experience designing architecture guardrails for outsourced partners and managing third-party managed security services.
• Protocol & Security Mastery: In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP routing security, IPsec, TLS, DNSSEC, NGFW capabilities (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point), and WAF solutions.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment: Strong leadership skills to drive network security strategy across IT infrastructure teams, third-party vendors, and business units.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
