Job summary

HAVI Belgium's TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Business Continuity & Operational Resilience Specialist to lead BCM design and recovery strategies. You will collaborate across IT, OT, GRC, Cloud, and vendors to ensure rapid recovery from disruptions and maintain ISO 22301 compliance.

The role requires 4+ years in continuity planning within a multinational environment, with a hybrid work model and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of dedicated experience in Business Continuity Planning, Operational Resilience, Disaster Recovery, or IT Service Continuity.
• Deep knowledge of ISO 22301 and ISO 27001 domains; familiarity with NIST SP 800-34.
• Experience mapping dependencies and designing DR failover plans.
• Proven ability to lead crisis simulations and tabletop drills for cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills to influence IT, operations, supply chain, and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design, execution, and continuous improvement of BCM and Operational Resilience.
• Collaborate with IT, OT/warehouse operations, GRC, Cloud, and vendor management teams.
• Conduct BIAs, refine DR strategies, run crisis simulations, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and participate in cross-functional crisis exercises and post-event reviews.

About The Role

We are looking for a Business Continuity & Operational Resilience Specialist to join our TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur!

As HAVI operates an extensive global supply chain, logistics network, and multi-cloud environment, maintaining uninterrupted operations and ensuring rapid recovery from major disruptions, cyber incidents, or physical threats is mission critical.

Reporting directly to the CISO, you will own the end-to-end design, execution, and continuous improvement of HAVI’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Operational Resilience framework. You will collaborate closely with IT infrastructure, OT/warehouse operations, GRC, Cloud, and vendor management teams to conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA), refine Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, run crisis simulation exercises, and ensure strict compliance with international standards (ISO 22301) and regulatory mandates (EU NIS 2).

The Skills

• Experience: 4+ years of dedicated experience in Business Continuity Planning, Operational Resilience, Disaster Recovery, or IT Service Continuity within a multinational corporate environment.
• Standards & Frameworks: Deep practical knowledge of ISO 22301 (BCMS), ISO 27001 (Security & Continuity domains), NIST SP 800-34, and regulatory frameworks such as EU NIS 2.
• BIA & DR Mastery: Proven expertise in facilitating end-to-end Business Impact Analyses, mapping complex application/infrastructure dependencies, and designing technical DR failover plans.
• Crisis Management & Exercise Execution: Demonstrated track record of designing and leading realistic crisis simulation exercises and table-top drills for operational and executive teams.
• Communication & Stakeholder Leadership: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional leaders across IT, operations, supply chain, and executive management.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in information security, Business Continuity, Information Technology, Risk Management, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
• Supply Chain & OT Experience: Experience managing operational resilience within global logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
• Cyber Resilience Integration: Familiarity with ransomware recovery scenarios, immutable backup governance, and integrating cyber incident response into broader enterprise BCP frameworks.
