Job summary

HAVI TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Enterprise Network Security Architect to join our team. As we expand our global distribution network, you will own architectural blueprints and Zero Trust implementation across multi-cloud environments.

Reporting to the CISO, you will supervise outsourced firewall administration while setting technical guardrails and vendor governance to drive secure, scalable connectivity for offices and warehouses worldwide.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in network security engineering and architecture within global enterprise environments.
• Technical mastery of SASE, ZTNA, SD-WAN, micro-segmentation, cloud VPCs (AWS/Azure), and hybrid connectivity.
• Vendor & Managed Service Oversight: experience designing architecture guardrails for outsourced partners and managing third‑party security services.
• In‑depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP routing security, IPsec, TLS, DNSSEC, NGFW capabilities, and WAF solutions.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment: drive network security strategy across IT infrastructure teams, vendors, and business units.

About The Role

We are looking for an Enterprise Network Security Architect to join our TechHUB in Kuala Lumpur!

As HAVI expands its global distribution network, integrating cloud-native infrastructures with legacy network edges and outsourced network security operations, maintaining a resilient, Zero Trust network posture is critical.Reporting directly to the CISO, you will serve as the strategic technical authority for enterprise network defense. While day-to-day firewall administration and network monitoring are managed by outsourced partners, you will own the architectural blueprints, technical guardrails, vendor governance, and Zero Trust implementation across global offices, warehouses, and multi-cloud environments.

The Skills

To set you up for success in this role, here are some key skills that will help you:

• Experience: 4-6 years of experience in network security engineering and architecture within complex, global enterprise environments.
• Architectural Frameworks: Technical mastery of SASE, ZTNA, SD-WAN, micro-segmentation, cloud virtual networks (AWS VPCs / Azure VNets), and hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute / Direct Connect).
• Vendor & Managed Service Oversight: Proven experience designing architecture guardrails for outsourced partners and managing third‑party managed security services.
• Protocol & Security Mastery: In‑depth knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP routing security, IPsec, TLS, DNSSEC, NGFW capabilities (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point), and WAF solutions.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment: Strong leadership skills to drive network security strategy across IT infrastructure teams, third‑party vendors, and business units.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
