Job summary

HFM is seeking an Enterprise Network Architect to lead the network strategy across on-premises, AWS, offices, data centers, and trading servers. You will shape architecture and standards, ensuring uptime and optimal client experience.

The role requires 10+ years in large-scale networks, AWS networking expertise, and hands-on firewall/VPN experience. Hybrid work model is offered with health insurance and annual leave.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise network engineering and architecture.
• Experience with AWS networking and hybrid connectivity.
• CCNP (CCIE desirable) and AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty preferred, or equivalent.
• Fluency in English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a driven and strategic Enterprise Network Architect to join our team. You will define network architecture and standards across on-premises infrastructure, AWS, offices, data centers, edge networks and trading-server and hybrid connectivity. You will support client experience and uptime through network best practices across our global estate.

Responsibilities:

• Own network target architecture and the roadmap across offices, data centers, AWS and hybrid connectivity.
• Define network standards and reference designs for segmentation, routing and switching, firewall policy, VPN and ZTNA, DNS, DHCP and IPAM, and wireless.
• Encode standards as reusable patterns, configuration baselines and automated checks.
• Own AWS network architecture, including VPCs, routing, inter-account connectivity, network firewalls and private DNS.
• Own network resilience and security architecture and design standards for trading-server connectivity.
• Prototype and validate network patterns hands-on, and train the Network and Network Security teams.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in network engineering and architecture, including enterprise-scale, high-availability networks.
• Fluency in English; additional languages would be considered an advantage.
• Deep knowledge of routing and switching, TCP/IP, VLANs, VRFs, ACLs and network segmentation.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise firewalls and VPNs (FortiGate, Palo Alto) and Cisco and Juniper routing and switching.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of AWS networking and hybrid connectivity; familiarity with Cloudflare a plus.
• Experience with network automation, scripting and infrastructure as code, and with network monitoring and observability tools.
• Cisco CCNP (CCIE desirable) and AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communicator who can translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
