Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a senior AI strategy leader to develop and implement the group’s AI roadmap across HR, Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Property, Retail, and other units.

You will research and evaluate AI tools, collaborate with departments, deploy AI solutions that boost productivity, and ensure data security and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Business, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in AI, automation, digital transformation, technology, business process improvement, or related fields.
• Practical knowledge of Generative AI, AI tools, automation, and emerging AI technologies.
• Experience in implementing AI or automation projects is preferred.
• Good understanding of business processes and workflow improvement.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder skills.
• Ability to work with multiple departments and translate requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group's AI strategy and roadmap.
• Identify opportunities to use AI and automation across HR, Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Property, Retail, Plantation, Mining, Steel, Driving Academy, and other business units.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend suitable AI tools and technologies.
• Work with departments to improve and automate existing business processes and workflows.
• Implement AI and automation solutions to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
• Develop AI-powered reporting, dashboards, and other solutions where applicable.
• Manage AI projects from planning through implementation and adoption.
• Establish and promote responsible AI usage, data security, and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor the performance and effectiveness of AI solutions and recommend improvements.
• Keep up to date with the latest AI technologies, tools, and industry trends.
• Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for Management.
• Work with IT, business units, and external vendors/consultants on AI-related projects.
• Promote AI adoption and identify new opportunities for continuous improvement.
