Qualifications

We are looking for a Solution Architect to drive the development and implementation of AI and digital solutions across the organisation.

This role sits at the intersection of Business, Technology and AI, working closely with business stakeholders, manufacturing and engineering teams, IT, and external technology partners to identify opportunities, develop AI use cases, and deliver practical solutions that improve productivity, operational efficiency and business performance.

The ideal candidate is someone who can understand business problems, translate them into technology solutions, and drive AI initiatives from ideation through implementation and adoption.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI & Digital Transformation

• Develop, implement and monitor the organisation's Business, Digital and AI Transformation roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
• Identify business opportunities where emerging technologies can create measurable value and competitive advantage.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Digital Twin, IoT, Computer Vision and Automation.
• Identify, prioritise and drive the implementation of AI use cases across manufacturing, engineering and corporate/business support functions.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and external technology partners to design and deliver AI-enabled business solutions.
• Drive enterprise-wide AI adoption by promoting awareness, knowledge sharing, responsible AI practices and effective change management.
• Establish and promote appropriate AI governance, standards and best practices across the organisation.

2. Enterprise AI, LLM & Machine Learning Solutions

• Lead the strategy and implementation of enterprise AI and LLM applications to improve productivity, knowledge management, decision-making and business workflows.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI and LLMs to enhance business processes and employee experience.
• Where required, develop, evaluate or oversee Machine Learning models for predictive analytics, forecasting, optimisation and operational improvement.
• Collaborate with IT, manufacturing and plant operations teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems, processes and workflows.
• Assess new AI technologies, tools and platforms and recommend suitable solutions based on business requirements, scalability, security and feasibility.
• Develop and maintain reusable AI frameworks, solution standards and best practices to support scalable AI adoption across the organisation.
• Monitor the performance, effectiveness and business impact of implemented AI solutions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

3. Business & Stakeholder Management

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand pain points, gather requirements and identify opportunities for AI and digital solutions.
• Translate business requirements into practical technology and AI solutions, working with internal teams and external solution providers.
• Manage and coordinate AI and digital transformation projects from ideation, business case development and solution design through implementation and adoption.
• Prepare and present business cases, project updates, recommendations and solution proposals to senior management.
• Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants and solution providers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Facilitate workshops, knowledge-sharing sessions and training programmes to build AI awareness and adoption across the organisation.
• Act as a key point of coordination between Business, IT, Manufacturing, Engineering and external technology partners.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Business Technology, Digital Transformation or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in AI, digital transformation, technology solutions, business transformation, data/analytics or related fields.
• Experience in AI solution development, digital transformation, technology consulting, AI product/project management or enterprise technology implementation will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of AI technologies such as Generative AI, LLMs, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, IoT, Digital Twin and Automation.
• Experience translating business requirements into technology/AI solutions and managing solution implementation.
• Strong stakeholder and project management skills, with the ability to work across business, technical and operational teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a practical and business-oriented approach to technology.
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technology concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.
• Strong interest in emerging technologies and a passion for identifying practical ways to apply AI to real-world business and operational challenges.
