Job summary

onsemi is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daily production operations in Malaysia, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are met. The role emphasizes strong leadership, problem-solving, and driving continuous improvement while managing production personnel and resources.

The incumbent will guide cross-functional teams and mentor engineers, supervisors, and technicians to build a high-performing workforce dedicated to delivering excellence in manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of manufacturing or production experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, safety, cost, and delivery targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence.
• Provide technical leadership to resolve complex manufacturing and process-related challenges.
• Lead cross-functional teams in implementing process improvements, capacity expansion, and cost reduction projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety regulations, and manufacturing best practices.
• Analyze manufacturing performance metrics and develop action plans to improve operational results.
• Support strategic planning, workforce development, and succession planning within the manufacturing organization.
• Mentor and develop engineers, supervisors, and technicians to build a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to support business objectives.
• Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, employee engagement, and continuous improvement across the organization.
