Job summary

onsemi is seeking an Operator 1 to perform production activities in line with established procedures, quality standards, safety rules, and productivity targets. The incumbent will operate equipment, perform visual inspections, and maintain production records while supporting continuous improvement efforts in compliance with company policies.

The role requires training and certification participation, teamwork, and maintaining quality, safety, and environment standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School / GED (Secondary) is the stated minimum education requirement.
• Certificate or vocational qualification in a technical field is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and production tools according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform assembly, testing, inspection, packaging, or production support activities as assigned.
• Follow all quality, ESD, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Conduct visual inspections and identify defects or abnormalities during production.
• Record production data accurately and complete required documentation.
• Escalate equipment issues, quality concerns, and safety incidents to supervisors promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the work area.
• Participate in training and certification programs required for assigned processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Work effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals and production targets.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and code of conduct at all times.
