Job summary

UCSI Schools Group in Subang Jaya invites an experienced English teacher to join our secondary division. You will teach classes, take on administrative duties as directed, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

The role requires engaging varied learning experiences, participation in extracurricular activities, and staying current with teaching resources and methods. Collaboration with colleagues and willingness to work extra hours when needed are essential to support student welfare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English Language, BEd, or PGCE/PGDE or equivalent.
• English speaker with excellent written skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Teach secondary classes with some administrative duties as directed by your supervisor.
• Teach about 75 percent weekly load; if teaching load is lower, other related responsibilities will be allocated, which may include but not limited to, school event and student welfare.
• Provide a variety of learning experiences that actively engages students and are appropriate for their individual needs.
• Participate in extracurricular activities such as social activities, sporting activities, clubs, and student organizations.
• Keep up to date with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods.
• Perform all other duties relating to the above that may be assigned to you by your supervisor from time to time.
