Sutera Harbour Resort in Sabah is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead daily maintenance and ensure facilities run at the highest standards.

You will coordinate preventive maintenance, guide engineering staff, and uphold safety and regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in engineering or facilities management.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering and maintenance operations across the resort.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of repair works.
• Monitor the performance of building systems, equipment, and utilities.
• Lead and support engineering associates in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
• Coordinate with other departments and external contractors when necessary.

What We’re Looking For:

• Diploma or Certificate in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Maintenance, or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of supervisory experience in engineering, maintenance, or facilities management, preferably within hospitality or resort operations
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance programs
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and supervise maintenance activities effectively
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance
