Job summary

Emerson Automation Malaysia is seeking a proactive project coordinator to support daily project activities with engineers and project managers in Bayan Lepas. You will execute tasks, maintain documentation, and coordinate logistics.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Engineering, Technology, or related field, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and strong organization and teamwork. Familiarity with Agile, Oracle, and ECO/MCO processes is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant field with work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Ability to learn quickly and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineers and project managers to support daily project activities.
• Execute tasks assigned by the project manager in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain project documentation and coordinate logistics activities, including ECOs and MCOs.
• Manage BOMs and component inventory records.
• Submit PRs, track POs, and support project coordination.
• Coordinate manufacturing prototype builds and product qualification requests.
• Create and maintain new component part numbers; experience with electronic components is an advantage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PCB Design, Test Engineering, Compliance, Manufacturing, and stakeholders.
• Foster strong teamwork and maintain effective communication across R&D and manufacturing.
