Job summary

R Systems is seeking an experienced AI & Digital Enablement Consultant for a Kuala Lumpur semiconductor project. The role focuses on embedding AI-enabled solutions, digital platforms, data analytics, automation and digital execution across the engineering, construction, commissioning and project-control lifecycle.

Responsibilities include configuring ACC and CxAlloy, building AI-driven dashboards, designing AI-enabled workflows, and ensuring outputs pass qualified-engineer review.

Qualifications

• Experience applying AI / Generative AI to engineering or construction projects.
• Experience implementing digital platforms and automation throughout project lifecycles.
• Strong communication, consulting and training skills.
• Familiarity with BIM, PFDs, P&IDs, specs and engineering docs.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced AI & Digital Enablement Consultant to support a prestigious semiconductor project in Kuala Lumpur.

The role will focus on embedding AI-enabled solutions, digital platforms, data analytics, automation and digital execution capabilities across the engineering, construction, commissioning and project-control lifecycle.

• Configure and administer Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and CxAlloy
• Develop and maintain ACC–CxAlloy integrations using native integration, ACC Connect and/or APIs
• Build real-time executive and discipline dashboards covering project progress, HSE, procurement, quality, commissioning, turnover and claims
• Design and implement AI-enabled engineering and project workflows
• Support automated design verification, model validation and interdisciplinary consistency checks across BIM models, PFDs, P&IDs, specifications, datasheets and engineering documentation
• Develop AI solutions for project reporting and repetitive document generation
• Apply predictive analytics to identify cost, schedule, procurement and execution risks
• Use AI to support schedule optimisation, critical-path analysis and OFCI/procurement risk identification
• Support data-centric estimating and project controls
• Develop AI-assisted knowledge discovery, lessons learned and engineering information retrieval capabilities
• Support AI-enabled QA/QC, document verification, NCR and punch-list closure checks
• Work closely with Fluor IT, Client IT and Project teams on integration, cybersecurity and data governance
• Deliver training, workshops and hands-on coaching to project teams
• Ensure all AI-generated outputs remain subject to qualified-engineer review and human-in-the-loop validation

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a combination of:

• AI / Digital Transformation consulting experience
• Engineering, EPC, PMC or construction project experience
• Experience implementing digital platforms and automation
• Strong understanding of engineering and construction documentation
• Experience with dashboards, data analytics and system integration
• Ability to work with senior project stakeholders and technical teams
• Strong communication, consulting and training skills

Experience in semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, EPC, industrial, data centre or large-scale construction projects will be highly advantageous.
