Job summary

Grand Venture Technology (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. seeks an experienced engineering leader to head the engineering team, allocate resources, set department goals, and ensure disciplined execution of engineering activities.

You will liaise with customers on technical requirements, drive manufacturing process improvements, optimize productivity, and champion quality and delivery targets. A strong background in mechanical manufacturing, GD&T, ERP audits, and cross‑functional leadership is required to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8 years of engineering experience in precision manufacturing environments.
At least 3 years in leadership or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, GD&T and process optimization.
Experience coordinating internal and external audits and ERP system implementations is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the engineering team and allocate resources.
Liaise with customers on technical requirements and engineering changes.
Drive process optimization to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
Collaborate with Operations to investigate issues, perform root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
Ensure engineering drawings, specs, and changes are controlled and quality standards are met.
