Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics or related engineering field.
• 5–8 years in engineering experience; 3+ years in supervisor/manager role.
• Hands-on technical leadership with problem-solving and PM skills.
• Strong knowledge of equipment reliability, maintenance systems and safety.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and hands-on operate daily engineering activities, maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programmes to minimise downtime.
• Ensure machinery, facilities, utilities and systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Identify issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Plan, manage and execute engineering projects from design to completion.
• Lead and develop the engineering and maintenance team to meet objectives.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reliability, productivity and efficiency.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team, oversee technical operations, and ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all engineering activities. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on strong technical leader with excellent problem‑solving, project management, and people management skills who can drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and cost efficiency across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Oversee and hands‑on on daily engineering operations, equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting activities

Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programmes to minimise equipment downtime

Ensure all machinery, facilities, utilities, and engineering systems operate safely and efficiently

Identify technical issues, investigate root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions

Plan, manage, and execute engineering projects from initial design and budgeting through implementation and completion

Lead, supervise, and develop the engineering and maintenance team to achieve departmental objectives

Ensure all engineering activities comply with applicable occupational safety, environmental, and technical regulations

Identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, equipment reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency

About you

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role

Proven experience in engineering operations, maintenance management, project execution, and technical problem‑solving

Strong knowledge of engineering principles, equipment reliability, maintenance systems, and safety requirements

Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure
