Job summary

Forest City Golf Hotel in Gelang Patah, Johor, Malaysia is seeking a capable Engineering Supervisor to oversee daily hotel engineering operations. The role focuses on maintaining electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems, while guiding technicians and scheduling preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead technicians and manage maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering operations including maintenance, repair and project work for hotel systems and facilities.
• Lead and supervise engineering technicians in preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Plan and assign duties for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and emergency repairs.
• Monitor equipment and system performance and ensure timely fault resolution.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and maintain maintenance records.

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
• Previous experience in hotel engineering, facilities maintenance, or a similar supervisory role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to lead and supervise technicians while managing maintenance schedules and daily operations.
• Good problem-solving skills with strong safety awareness and ability to work under pressure.

Supervise daily engineering operations including maintenance, repair, and project work to ensure smooth functioning of all hotel systems and facilities.

Lead and supervise the engineering technicians in performing preventive and corrective maintenance.

Plan and assign duties such as preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs.

Monitor the performance of equipment and systems

Monitor progress and ensure timely resolution of faults and completion of work.

Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Conduct routine inspections of hotel premises to ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.

Maintain maintenance records and report major issues to the supervisor.
