Job summary

Infineon Technologies Malaysia in Malacca City is seeking an Engineer Test Engineering within our Research & Development team to merge creativity with technical expertise, shaping the future of power IC testing.

You will develop and enhance test packages for power driver ICs, transfer FE wafer tests and BE final tests to Infineon and subcontractor sites, define test concepts, and push for test-related innovations across global teams while mentoring new engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or comparable.
• >5 years of experience in test engineering for power driver ICs.
• Experience with Teradyne ETS88/ETS800 or Advantest V93K and programming (C, C++, Java).
• Strong problem solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and enhance existing test packages for power driver ICs.
• Develop and transfer FE wafer tests and BE final tests to Infineon and subcontractor sites.
• Define test concepts, design for test, and test specifications with concept engineering.
• Drive risk management and innovative test ideas.
• Implement new test concepts and methods for NPI products with analysis and debugging.
• Optimize test packages for cost, time, and yield throughout production.
• Coach new engineers to become SME where applicable.

Your role

• Develop newandenhance existing testpackages (test cell, test hardware, test program) for power driver ICs
• Develop and transfer both FE wafer test and BEfinal test packages to IFX and subcon production sites
• Be responsible for the definition oftestconcepts, Design for Test, as well as test specifications in cooperation with the concept engineering and design team
• Contribute to new ideas, drive active riskmanagementand demonstrate a sense of urgency for upcoming test-related innovation
• Implement new test concepts & methods for NPI products including analysis, debug and characterization on the tester
• Identify and introduce test packageimprovements/conversion to realize test time and cost optimization for products in volume production
• Optimize test packagesthroughout the productlifetime as well as supporting the yield monitoring and lot disposition
• Handle the electrical analysis in case of customer rejects or production test issues and collaborate with product engineering and design in the framework of global cross-functional teams
• Coachnewengineers to increase competency and to become subject matter expert (SME) where applicable

Your profile

• Bachelor’sorMaster’sdegreein Electrical and Electronic Engineering or comparable
• > 5relevant years of experience in test engineeringfor powerdriver ICswithin the semiconductor industry
• Working experience required on tester platforms Teradyne ETS88/ETS800orAdvantest V93K with very good programming skills (C and C++, Java)
• Skills in developmentand problem solvingof test programs and test hardware, preferably in analog / mixed signal power / high voltagedomain (e.g. 1000V)
• Technical driving skills, results oriented behavior and strong communicationskills within global teams
• Fluent Englishskills
