Key responsibilities in your new role
Develop new and enhance existing test packages (test cell, test hardware, test program) for power discrete products with focus on Si, SiC, and Wide Bandgap (WBG) technologies
Develop and support the transfer and generation of FE wafer test programs, BE final test package, and reliability product testing programs
Be responsible for the definition of test concepts, design for test, as well as test specifications in cooperation with the concept engineering and design team
Contribute to new ideas, drive active risk management and demonstrate a sense of urgency for upcoming test-related innovation
Implement new test concepts & methods for NPI products, including analysis, debug and characterization on the tester
Identify and introduce test package improvements or conversion to realize test time and cost optimization for products in volume production
Optimize test packages throughout the product lifetime as well as supporting the yield monitoring and lot disposition
Handle the electrical analysis in case of customer rejects or production test issues, and collaborate with product engineering and design in the framework of global cross-functional teams
Coach new engineers to increase competency and to become subject matter expert (SME) where applicable
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering or a comparable major
GG13 or >12 years of working experience in power discrete test development within the semiconductor industry
Expertise in power test platforms (e.g., IPTest or similar) is preferred, as well as know-how in C/C++ programming experience
Strong technical background in Si, SiC, and Wide Bandgap (WBG) technologies
Skills in analog or mixed signal electronic circuit, test program coding and debugging
Technical driving skills, result oriented behavior and strong communication skills within global teams are a must
Analytical and problem-solvingskills
Fluent English skills (willingness to learn German is a plus)
