Gamuda Berhad, a leading regional engineering, property and infrastructure company, is seeking an on-site Engineer to organize and execute project management and construction activities on site, ensuring work aligns with design standards, on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee site activities, supervise labour and subcontractors, plan work, monitor quality, safety and environmental matters, and prepare daily and monthly progress reports.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Engineer will organise and execute the project management and construction activities on site while ensuring that the project is executed in full accordance to the design standards and specifications, on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Day to day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet the agreed deadlines.
• Overseeing quality control, safety & health and environmental matters on site.
• Resolving any unexpected technical issues / difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant to ensure all materials used are as per specifications.
• Preparation of daily progress report and monthly progress report.
• To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and work place as required by the Company.
• Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
