Job summary

Pegaunihan Technology Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is recruiting a lead for Maintenance & Operations to manage facility systems, utilities, and infrastructure at our Johor site.

The role emphasizes 24/7 monitoring, contractor oversight, and data-driven decision making. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in facility maintenance or engineering management, with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a chargeman BO certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in facility maintenance or engineering management (HVAC, ultrapure water, wastewater, power distribution).
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field; mechanical/electrical environmental protection or water treatment majors preferred.
• Must possess a valid chargeman BO certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Operations: Manage preventive and reactive maintenance for facility systems, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Oversee 24/7 control room monitoring and scheduling to ensure system stability.
• Oversee external contractors and leverage AI technologies to streamline processes and drive smart facility management.
• Lead plant upgrades, facility improvements, and system installations within budget.
• Plan and control project budgets, provide real-time data analysis, and coordinate with Finance and Procurement for cost efficiency.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO).
• Drive energy efficiency programs and improve system capability indices.
• Mentor junior technicians and engineers while managing contractors.

Work Experiences

Minimum 3 years in facility maintenance or engineering management (including HVAC, ultrapure water, wastewater, power distribution, etc.).

Technical proficiency in HVAC, BMS, and electrical systems, along with strong analytical and project management skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.

Mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, environmental protection, water treatment or related majors are preferred.

Must possess a valid chargeman BO certificate.

Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Operations

Managing preventive/reactive maintenance for facility systems, utilities, and infrastructure.

Manage control room staff scheduling and operations monitoring to ensure 24/7 system stability.

Oversee external contractors and leverage AI technologies to streamline processes, enhance monitoring and maintenance efficiency, and drive smart facility management.

Project Management: Leading plant upgrades, facility improvements, and system installations within budget.

Plan and control project budgets, establish cost monitoring center, provide real-time data analysis, and collaborate with Finance and Procurement for cost efficiency.

Compliance & Safety: Ensuring adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO).

Optimization: Driving energy efficiency programs and enhancing system capability indices.

Leadership: Mentoring junior technicians/engineers and managing contractors.

Language Requirements

Fluent in English and Malay

Professional working proficiency in Mandarin is advantage but not compulsory
