Job summary

Healthcare Technical Services in Johor Bahru, Johor, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead assigned projects from inception through handover, ensuring safety, quality, timeline and cost adherence.

You will review client requirements, coordinate with SMEs, consultants and contractors, prepare detailed plans and manage risks across the full lifecycle while ensuring regulatory compliance and high standards of QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Project Management, preferably involving medium-scale projects.
• Experience managing the full project lifecycle, from design and feasibility through construction, handover, close-out and DLP.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
• Possess a valid CIDB Green Card.
• Project Management qualification or equivalent training in the Engineering and Construction industry is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects throughout the full project lifecycle, including Pre-Contract, Construction and Handover stages.
• Review client requirements, design briefs, Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ).
• Ensure project requirements comply with relevant guidelines, standards and authority regulations.
• Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), consultants, contractors and relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare project estimates, detailed project plans, schedules and resource requirements.
• Manage day-to-day project activities and coordinate project team meetings.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues and overall performance.
• Participate in feasibility studies, vendor selection and proposal evaluations.
• Ensure appropriate quality control throughout project implementation.
• Coordinate project handover, including Operation & Maintenance documentation and knowledge transfer to the site team.
• Ensure Final Account completion within the stipulated contractual timeline.
• Monitor and close out project defects, including matters relating to the Defects Liability Period (DLP).
