Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an Engineer – Project Administration to drive successful engineering projects from tender preparation to documentation and cost management.

You will coordinate site activities, liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion, accurate records, and effective contract administration. Fresh graduates are welcome; English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin help in multinational collaborations.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or higher in Electrical/Mechanical/Construction Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged; experience in project administration or engineering is a plus.
• Excellent communication in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project administration activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Prepare tender documents, perform quantity take-offs, cost estimations, and budget planning.
• Support project submissions, client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
• Monitor project budgets, cost control, variation orders (VO), progress claims, and payment processes.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including supplier and subcontractor quotations, purchase orders, and claim management.
• Prepare project correspondence and ensure contractual documentation is properly maintained.
• Liaise closely with clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure seamless communication.
• Coordinate site activities, manpower allocation, and logistics arrangements with site personnel.
• Track project milestones, delivery schedules, and project performance to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Perform any other duties assigned to support project and business objectives.
