Job summary

CCIE Engineering is seeking detail-oriented Commercial Engineers to join our project team in Malaysia. The role focuses on project commercial management, cost control, quantity measurement, contract management, progress claims, and coordination with clients, contractors, and project teams.

Mandarin and English communication are required; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus. Willingness to work at project sites is expected.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field.
Experience in commercial, quantity surveying, cost control or contract management is advantageous.
Experience in data centre, MEP or large-scale construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor the commercial aspects of assigned construction projects.
Monitor project costs, budgets and financial performance.
Ensure commercial activities follow company procedures and project requirements.
Prepare and maintain commercial records and documentation.
Assist in tender submissions, quotations and commercial proposals.
Review drawings, specifications, BOQ and other tender documents.
Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for pricing.
Review and monitor project contracts and subcontract agreements.
Maintain proper records of contracts and related documents.
