Job summary

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a Master’s degree in engineering or science disciplines such as chemical, mechanical, nuclear, physics or chemistry.
• Strong English oral and written communication skills are required.
• Interest in developing IoT-based approaches to improve processes and status quo.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Excel, Tableau or Python; solid foundation in statistics.
• Willingness to stand for extended periods during process troubleshooting and to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine/process indices to identify critical patterns and troubleshoot per plan.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce cost, scrap, manpower and improve throughput/uptime.
• Support machine installation and process startup following Infineon protocol.
• Design (JMP) and conduct experiments for CIP activities.
• Perform FMEA on process changes and ensure timely delivery.

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Master in an engineering or science discipline (chemical, mechanical, nuclear, physics, chemistry)
• Possess strong English oral/written skills
• Enjoy the thinking process involved in developing new approach/concept, i.e., IoT, to improve the status quo
• Enjoy data analysis (excel, tableau or Python/VBA) and strong in fundamental sciences/statistics
• Able to stand daily for long hours (>3 hrs) during process trouble-shooting
• Able to withstand continuous stress and enjoys working in team environment
