Job summary

UEM Edgenta Bhd in Malaysia seeks an Engineer to carry out Reliability Centred Maintenance and Sustainability-driven work on complex assets. You will perform preventive and routine maintenance, log data in ASIS, and verify vendor work and invoices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Reliability Centred Maintenance concepts.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning and execution.
• Familiarity with asset information systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance according to Reliability Centred Maintenance and Sustainability Programs.
• Maintain specialized/complex equipment and facility systems requiring expertise.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance and record data in ASIS.
• Process service requests, monitor vendor work, and verify invoices.
• Attend and verify testing & commissioning; assist asset/project registrations.
• Provide technical feedback and coordinate with vendors on maintenance tasks.
• Schedule housekeeping of plant rooms and ensure safety and compliance.
• Gather data for technical reports for MoH per concession agreement.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE, quality, risk, and LEAN programs; support KPIs.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• - Carry out assigned work according to Reliability Centred Maintenance (Unscheduled / Schedule / Condition Based Maintenance) and Sustainability Program including other disciplines when required.
• - Carry out maintenance for specialized / complex equipment according to Reliability Centred Maintenance (Unscheduled / Schedule / Condition Based Maintenance) especially on assets or facility systems that require expertise
• - Perform preventive and routine maintenance activities as well as record log sheet / keyed in all data in Engineering Operation Data (EOD) module of Asset and Services Information System (ASIS).
• - Request order of goods in accordance with Service Work (SW) / Service Request (SR) requirements, monitor progress of works done by the vendors and verify invoices for the payment process for the work done by vendors.
• - Attend and verify Testing & Commissioning as well as assist the Asset / Project Registration process for new assets / projects as per requirements.
• - Assist and provide technical feedback of maintenance work requiring vendor expertise to superior and monitor the work.
• - Schedule and conduct housekeeping of Plant Room, workshop and maintenance equipment is in good condition and safe according to the work safety act.
• - Gather data for preparation of technical reports that are to be submitted to MoH as per Concession Agreement.
• - Ensure all activities comply with Quality, Safety, Health and environment activities (Quality Assurance Program, Risk Management, Hazard Alert and Recall, Handling Hazardous Equipment) as per contract agreement. Support company programmes and activities such as related to HSSE and LEAN e.g. tool box session at agreed frequency set by management
• - Support stakeholder management (external - Contractor Performance Assessment and Customer Satisfaction Survey, internal – headquarters, vendor etc.) effectively by providing excellent services to maintain good relationship and achieve high customer satisfaction level as per Key Performance Indicator (KPI) set by Company and Ministry of Health.

Job Requirements

• - Bachelor's Degree Specialised in Mechanical Engineering and Registered Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM)
• - At least 1 - 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• - Preferable candidates with the hospital’s support services experience.
