Job summary

Bangladesh Honda- People, Career & Culture is seeking an Engineer to manage and plan daily operations, quality control, and ISO 9001/ISO 14001 compliance. The role leads the Final Inspection project, supports defect analysis, and maintains records per Honda policies.

Responsibilities include cross-functional communication, forming action plans, and ensuring 5S and safety standards are followed within the unit. You will also create reports and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliant systems.
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and teams.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills for defect trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations within the Final Inspection/Quality domain.
• Communicate with customers or internal teams regarding claims and defects.
• Oversee Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, and 5S/Safety activities.
• Prepare check sheets, results reports, and related documentation.

Short Description

Engineer is responsible as management staff to control and planning implementation, also the main-administrative, planner and leader for daily operation/in-house quality/new model/ISO 9001 and ISO14001, not limited to own section only. Apart from that, is responsible for supporting the team in daily operation, feedback and analyzing defects, creating reports and maintaining records as per Quality Management Standard requirement and other Honda Policies.

• Responsible communication with Customer Service and managing Market Claim related issues.
• Responsible for conducting initial/functional analysis based on claim parts, making judgement and taking appropriate action with other related parties.
• Responsible as Project Leader for Final Inspection Department appointed project.
• Responsible for Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, Inspection Tools/Equipment/Machines, Budget, 5S and Safety, and acts as Internal Quality Auditor.
• Execution for daily/periodically follow-up action on the item that is fixed for checking or confirmation purpose including preparation of check sheets, result report and related documents.
• Support the team in daily operation, and defect feedback/communicate to related parties, support any hands‑on activities (analysis, repair, inspection etc) within own Business Unit.
• Undertake any other projects, tasks and duties as assigned by superiors from time to time
