Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering is required.
• Board of Engineers Malaysia registration is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in a related field is required.
• Candidate should be customer-driven with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work with minimal supervision.

Engineer (M&E Engineer/ Building Services Engineer) responsible for meeting and analyzing client needs, developing project timelines and budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. The role involves preparing technical documents, advising on legal requirements related to mechanical & electrical engineering, conducting environmental impact assessments, and monitoring vendor and contractor work to ensure compliance with required standards.

Key responsibilities

Meeting and analyzing the client's needs to understand their project requirements, challenges, and goals

Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans

Engage and collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and clients to ensure project success

Prepare technical documents, reports, and manuals for projects and products

Advise on legal requirements related to mechanical & electrical engineering, such as safety standards and environmental laws

Conduct assessments to evaluate the environmental impact of projects and recommend improvements

Conduct research and advise clients to stay updated with the latest product, material, technological advancements and industry trends

Monitor the work of vendors and contractors to ensure it meets required standards

Based at HQ office in Shah Alam, Selangor and willing to travel across Malaysia

About you

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering

Register with Board of Engineer Malaysia

Minimum 2-4 years' experience in related field

Customer-driven, result-oriented, strong networking with good interpersonal skills

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Able to work with minimal supervision

Valid driving license

Ability in using software like CAD (Computer-Aided Design) & Revit
