Job summary

Top Glove is seeking a capable Engineer / Chemist for Production & Compounding to drive R&D on compounding processes and improve glove production efficiency. You will coordinate with supervisors and chemists, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and provide technical training to staff in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes process optimization, accurate lab testing, and strict adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements with opportunities for in-house

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or Analytical Chemistry from reputable universities.
• Good command of English language (spoken and written).
• Results oriented with follow-up and negotiation skills.
• Fresh candidates are also acceptable (in-house training provided).
• Comfortable working independently in an industrial plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Study and perform R&D on the compounding process to look for better formula and make recommendations to management.
• Conduct R&D to produce more value-added gloves.
• Spot check chemical preparations to ensure standards are met; ensure lab test results are accurate.
• Carry out internal calibration for all equipment used in Lab, QA/Packing and Production departments.
• Study and recommend improvements to management on quality and methods to reduce cost and improve production efficiency.
• Provide training to compounding supervisors, lineboys and workers on compounding processes and related knowledge.

Your Mission:

Study and perform R&D on the compounding process to look for better formula and make recommendation to management.

To conduct R&D to produce more value added gloves.

Practice good housekeeping concept and ensure the department and all jobs done within it are properly performed in compliant to the industrial safety and health requirements.

To spot check the chemical preparation by the production supervisor is according to standard and the lab test results are accurate.

To carry out internal calibration for all the equipment used in Lab, QA/Packing and Production departments

Study and recommend to management on the improvement of quality and work methods to reduce cost and improve efficiency of production.

Provide training to compounding supervisor, lineboys and workers on the compounding process and other relevant knowledge on glove production.

Manage and coordinate with supervisors and chemists to have sufficient workforce to ensure the smooth running of compounding, chlorination department and waste water treatment plant.

To control the chemical usage in compounding department and to make sure all chemicals used in the compounding process are within the standard.

To monitor the latex and chemical preparation by the compounding supervisor is according to standard.

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements, including proper implementation of procedures and operational standards

What we are looking for:

• 01) Degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Analytical Chemistry or any related from reputable universities.
• 02) Good command of English language (spoken and written).
• 03) Results oriented, strong follow up and good negotiation skills.
