Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in studying and analyzing manufacturing process parameters, and implementing project improvements. The objective is to enhance operational efficiency, reduce rejection, improve net process recovery.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes to achieve production, quality, cost, and efficiency targets.
• Monitor production processes and identify issues, bottlenecks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Analyze production data and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve process performance.
• Establish and maintain process parameters, work instructions, SOPs, and process standards.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to resolve process-related issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective solutions for recurring production and quality problems.
• Support new product introduction, process development, trials, and production ramp-up activities.
• Conduct process studies, time studies, and capacity analysis to improve manpower, machine utilization, and production efficiency.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to equipment, tooling, materials, and production methods.
• Ensure processes comply with company standards, quality requirements, safety procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Support lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare process reports, improvement proposals, and other relevant technical documentation.
• Provide technical support and training to production personnel on process requirements and improvements.
• Perform other duties and projects assigned by the superior.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Material Science), Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
• Required Skill(s): Mechanical, Chemical, Analytical, Initiative, Production Engineering, Team Work
• Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Engineering - Mechanical or equivalent.
