Job summary

Genting Plantations Berhad is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional based in Lahad Datu, Sabah, to install, monitor and optimize critical equipment across the manufacturing floor. The role requires troubleshooting, maintenance program management and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of working experience in Manufacturing Industry preferred. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, components and manufacturing processes will be an added advantage.
• Good command in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to be based in Lahad Datu, Sabah.

Responsibilities

• Install, monitor and optimize the crucial equipment (pumps, pipeline, compressor, turbines).
• Provide technical expertise for day-to-day operations, troubleshooting equipment failure and optimizing process performances.
• Manage & handle maintenance programs, conduct inspections and ensure the reliability of equipment.
• Ensure all processes adhere to strict safety standards and perform risk assessment to eliminate hazards.
• Prepare reports, procedures and technical documentations for analysis and records.
