Job summary

COSMOS INTEGRITY ENGINEERING SDN BHD is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to manage and coordinate projects involving thermoplastic piping systems and valve servicing works, including planning, execution, inspection and testing. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, 1–2 years’ experience (fresh graduates welcome), and the ability to read P&IDs, Isometrics, and GA drawings.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel, plus English and Bahasa Melayu, is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of working experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings (P&ID, Isometric, GA).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel.
• English and Bahasa Melayu proficient.
• Willing to travel and work at project sites across Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor project activities to ensure aligned with project objective and timelines
• Develop and maintain project schedule while coordinate and monitor assigned engineering team
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Monitor daily site activities, manpower, project progress, and prepare regular progress reports
• Coordinate subcontractor and liaise with client to ensure all works are carried as per requirement

About you

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Preferably 1 - 2 years of working experience, with strong construction work

Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply

Able to interpret engineering drawing (P&ID, Isometric, GA drawing)

Proficient in relevant engineering software (AutoCAD, Ms Project, Microsoft Excel)

Good knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of mechanical engineering

Required language: English & Bahasa Melayu

Willing to travel and work at project sites throughout Malaysia on short notice
