Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Professional engineering qualification or pursuing PE registration.
• 2–3 years of relevant project engineering experience.

• Proficiency in CAD and project management tools.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

About the role

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Engineer to join the Project Engineering team at NINE TREE DESIGN SDN. BHD. This is a full-time position based in Johor. As an Engineer, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our projects, contributing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure that our designs meet the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency. What you'll be doing

Conducting technical analyses and feasibility studies to support project planning and decision-making

Designing and developing engineering solutions that meet project specifications and client requirements

Preparing detailed technical drawings, calculations and documentation for project implementation

Collaborating with cross-functional teams including architects, contractors and other specialists to ensure seamless project delivery

Monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets and quality standards

Performing site inspections and conducting quality checks to verify that work meets engineering standards

Providing technical support and guidance to junior team members and contractors

Identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies to maintain project success

Maintaining accurate project records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

What we’re looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline

Professional engineering qualification or working towards registration as a Professional Engineer

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in project engineering or a related engineering discipline

Strong knowledge of engineering principles, building codes, standards and regulations

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and project management tools

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines

Experience with construction management software and Building Information Modelling (BIM) is advantageous
