Flex is seeking an Employee Services Lead in Perai, Penang. You will oversee transportation and hostel operations, ensuring safety, cost-efficiency, and compliance while supporting employee welfare and business requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR with about 5 years in HR or related areas and strong planning, coordination, and vendor management skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. This is a on-site role with benefits including medical and life insurance.

• Conduct hostel audits, inspections, and corrective actions; maintain welfare and living standards.
• Ensure safety, compliance with policies, and effective coordination with stakeholders.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Employee Services Lead located in Perai, Penang.

Participate in a variety of employee relations activities to minimize the negative impact of individual employee grievances or collective labor disputes.

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for overseeing transportation and accommodation operations to ensure safe, efficient, compliant, and cost-effective services that support employee welfare and business requirements.

• Specific responsibilities (Transportation):

  • Lead daily employee transportation operations.
  • Manage transport vendors, drivers, and service performance.
  • Monitor route efficiency, vehicle utilization, and transportation costs.
  • Ensure compliance with road safety requirements and company policies.
  • Investigate transport incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Support transportation planning for new hires and operational changes.
  • Drive transportation cost optimization initiatives.

• Specific responsibilities (Hostel):

  • Oversee employee accommodation strategy and operations.
  • Manage hostel capacity, occupancy, and accommodation planning.
  • Ensure hostel compliance with legal, safety, and company requirements.
  • Lead hostel audits, inspections, and corrective action implementation.
  • Manage relationships with hostel operators, landlords, and service providers.
  • Resolve escalated employee accommodation issues and concerns.
  • Ensure employee welfare, safety, and living standards are maintained.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a Human Resource related function.
• Typically requires 5 years of Human Resources or related experience.
• Capabilities in planning, coordination, presentation, influencing, managing vendors and stakeholders, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
