Job summary

Deutsche Bank Malaysia is seeking a results‑driven professional to support the Global Markets business in Kuala Lumpur. You will build client relationships with financial institutions and corporates, price and execute client flows, manage risk, and sign off on PnL for the trading book.

The role emphasizes platform optimization, flow automation, and collaboration with internal teams and pro‑sales to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of financial institutions, with knowledge of FX and/or Rates products.
• Knowledge of sales, trading, and market risk concepts.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with ability to apply product knowledge in a trading environment.
• Interest in financial markets, trading strategies, and evolving market dynamics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration in a high‑performance environment.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and ethical use of data.

Responsibilities

• Build and expand client relationships across financial institutions and corporates.
• Pricing and executing Corporate and Institutional client flows.
• Risk management and portfolio optimization.
• Responsible for execution, trade capture and PnL signoff of trading book.
• Explore platform enhancements with emphasis on flow automation.
• Coordinate with internal groups and pro-sales activities to ensure client satisfaction.
• Continuously explore overall platform enhancements.
