Job summary

Businesslist seeks a Financial Controlling specialist to lead month-end close, balance sheet governance, statutory reporting, and tax support across markets. You will partner with regional finance leaders, drive process improvements, and contribute to finance transformation in a hybrid work setup.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, professional qualifications like ACCA/CPA/CIMA, and 5–7 years in financial controlling or related areas, with fluency in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in Financial Controlling, General Accounting, R2R or Finance Operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, balance sheet governance, statutory reporting, and accounting controls.
• Experience supporting tax, transfer pricing, and compliance activities.
• Proficiency in SAP and financial reporting systems.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing activities for timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, governance activities, and internal controls.
• Support statutory reporting and liaise with external providers for timely submissions.
• Assist in tax, transfer pricing reviews, and documentation.
• Partner with CFOs and Country Finance teams to support decision-making.
• Drive process standardisation and finance transformation initiatives.
