Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled engineer with 3–5 years in ELV/HVAC/M&E/Data Centre projects. The role requires coordinating across site teams, performing installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting pre-sales design and site surveys.

Travel to project sites and strong teamwork are essential. The candidate should possess a diploma/degree in Electrical or Electronic engineering, show leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronic or related Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in ELV/HVAC/M&E/Data Centre projects.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to travel/work at project sites.
• Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Possess leadership qualities and strong analytical skills.
• Committed and result-driven with a sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
• Good self-initiative and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdown calls and standby for 24/7.
• Carry out maintenance, installation, configuration, start-up, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, technical support and repairing.
• Collaborate with site teams, supervisors and contractors for smooth project execution.
• Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
• Manage and update important project documents to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
• Assist Service Desk & Service Manager to generate Technical & RCA reports and attend Technical Meetings/Training.
• Assist and handle all project UAT (handover).
• Perform site surveys as required by Service Manager or Service Admin Manager.
• Assist Pre-Sales on Design, Technical Advice and Site Survey.
• Carry out ad hoc tasks or projects for process improvement as required.
