Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to join our Cyberjaya project team. You will coordinate and supervise M&E installation works, review drawings, and ensure safety and quality compliance on large-scale developments.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in construction, data centres, or commercial buildings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant M&E engineering experience is preferred.
• Practical experience in at least one of the following areas: Electrical, HVAC/ACMV, or Plumbing & Sanitary.
• Experience in construction, industrial buildings, data centres, commercial buildings or large-scale M&E projects will be an added advantage.
• Able to understand engineering drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in site coordination, installation supervision, testing and commissioning will be an advantage.
• Good communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Mandarin communication skills will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work in Cyberjaya, Selangor.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise M&E installation works according to project drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, technical submissions and method statements.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and other engineering disciplines.
• Identify and resolve technical and site coordination issues.
• Monitor materials, equipment and M&E installation progress.
• Participate in inspections, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Ensure works comply with relevant safety, quality and technical requirements.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation and project records.
