Job summary

UNIQCEN SALES & SERVICES (SOUTHERN) Sdn Bhd invites an Electrical/Electronic engineer to join our project team in Malaysia. A Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic or related Engineering is required, with 3–5 years in ELV/HVAC/M&E/Data Centre projects.

You will coordinate, communicate, and solve problems, and travel to project sites as needed, functioning independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities include breakdown support, maintenance, installation, configuration, start-up,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic or related Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in ELV/HVAC/M&E/Data Centre projects.
• Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel/work at project sites.
• Pleasant personality, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as a good team player.
• Possess leadership qualities.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Committed and result-driven.
• Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure.
• Strong self-initiative and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Attend breakdown calls and standby for 24/7.
• Carry out maintenance, installation, configuration, start-up, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, technical support and repairing.
• Collaborate effectively with site teams, supervisors and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
• Manage and update important project documents to guarantee compliance and smooth operations.
• Assist Service Desk & Service Manager to generate any Technical & RCA Report and attend Technical Meetings/Training.
• Assist and handle all project UAT (handover).
• Perform site surveys as required by Service Manager or Service Admin Manager.
• Assist Pre-Sales on Design, Technical Advice and Site Survey.
• Carry out Ad Hoc tasks or projects for continuous work process improvement.
