Job summary

Dover Elevators (M) Sdn Bhd, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, seeks a Service Sales Executive to drive growth in maintenance and modernization projects across Malaysia. You will liaison between technical operations and clients to ensure safe, compliant elevator systems.

You'll build new business, manage existing accounts, conduct site visits and proposals, and lead contract negotiations to close service agreements with reliability and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably within the elevator industry or building services (HVAC, fire safety, FM).
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to read basic technical specifications.
• Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and own transport, with a willingness to travel across Malaysia as required.
• Language: Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; Proficiency in Chinese is a significant advantage for client relations.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Business Development: Identify and capture new opportunities for lift maintenance contracts and modernization (upgrades) within residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
• Portfolio Management: Manage existing client accounts to ensure high retention rates and identify opportunities for upgrades.
• Consultative Selling: Conduct site visits and technical assessments to recommend tailored maintenance solutions that meet safety standards and client budgets.
• Contract Negotiation: Prepare professional proposals and tenders; lead negotiations to finalize service agreements.
• Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to maintain our competitive edge in the Malaysian market.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new service contracts.
• Collections: Follow up with Accounts Receivable Team to ensure payments due from customers are invoiced and collected on time without delay.
