Job summary

Otis Elevator Company (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintainance Technician to manage service operations across the east coast branch in Malaysia. You will perform 100% maintenance visits, oversee a portfolio of elevators, and respond to breakdowns with a focus on first-time fixes.

The role requires at least 2 years in the elevator sector, strong electrical skills, and a safety-first mindset. You will work independently or with a team, using digital tools and modern equipment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in the elevator sector.
• Strong electrical/electrical engineering skills.
• Safety-focused professional with priority on safe work practices.
• Good communication and ability to work alone or in a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of elevator maintenance and service visits within territory.
• Manage portfolio of elevators in defined area.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns; aim for first-time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to keep operation.
• Liaise with customer on site to build relationships.
