Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN MINDE GROUP SDN. BHD. in Penang is seeking Material/Production Planners to manage demand, plan materials, and coordinate with Purchasing to ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced EMS environment.

Candidates with a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain or related fields and experience in EMS/PCBA manufacturing are encouraged to apply. Salary up to RM10,000, with performance bonus and potential 13th-month considerations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in material planning, production planning, or related manufacturing planning functions.
• Experience in EMS/PCBA/electronics or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of MRP, inventory, material availability and production planning.
• Experience handling shortages, demand and changing requirements.
• Familiar with SAP, BaaN, Infor LN or equivalent ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer demand, forecasts and order requirements through the ERP/MRP system.
• Plan materials and/or production schedules according to demand, capacity and material availability.
• Monitor material readiness, shortages and potential supply risks.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to expedite critical materials and resolve shortages.
• Monitor production progress and adjust priorities according to customer and operational requirements.
• Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Shipping and customer-facing teams.
• Manage inventory requirements and support effective material flow.
• Coordinate production and shipment requirements to achieve customer delivery commitments.
• Maintain accurate planning parameters, schedules and ERP/MRP data.
• Support inventory optimization, planning accuracy and continuous improvement.
