Job summary

Oriental Fastech Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. (OFM) in Bukit Minyak Industrial Area is seeking an seasoned Operations Manager to plan, lead, and optimize daily electronics manufacturing activities to meet production targets.

The role requires 8–10 years in electronics manufacturing with 3–5 years in management, strong knowledge of PCBA processes, Lean/Six Sigma, ISO/ESD standards, and proven leadership to drive continuous improvement and cost control.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes, including SMT, Wave Soldering, Selective Soldering, AOI, ICT, and Assembly operations.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with IPC standards, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ESD requirements.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills.
Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and monitor daily manufacturing operations to achieve production targets.
Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials.
Monitor production output, efficiency, and productivity to meet customer delivery requirements.
Coordinate with Production Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations.
Lead CAPA for operational issues and drive Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and CI initiatives.
Analyze operational performance and implement process improvements to reduce costs.
Monitor KPIs such as OEE, yield, scrap rate, and on-time delivery.
Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and departmental teams.
Manage workforce planning, training, and employee engagement.
Ensure OSH compliance and safety reviews.
Ensure ISO standards compliance and customer audits.
Monitor and control operational expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on operational requirements.
Support inventory control and NPI activities.
Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent delivery and quality performance.
