Job summary

ESCATEC Group is seeking a Production Supervisor in Penang to lead a dynamic production team, ensuring throughput meets customer demand while maintaining quality and efficiency. You will motivate operators, coordinate with support groups, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a high-mix, high-volume environment.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication across departments, and solid computer skills to monitor performance, manage schedules, and ensure adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership required to manage production team.
• Effective communication with support groups and other departments.
• Basic computer skills for production tracking and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team independently to meet customer demand and backlogs.
• Supervise operators, material handlers and line leaders to ensure quantity and quality output.
• Monitor attendance, resolve grievances, and track WIP and yield.
• Optimize resources to improve efficiency and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Lead daily briefings and meetings to align team with targets and 5S practices.
