Job summary

Opulent Solutions Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas is seeking a procurement specialist to handle sourcing and purchasing of electronics materials, prepare new item cost for RFQs, and manage PO issuance with suppliers to ensure timely delivery for NPI builds. The role requires 1–3 years in procurement or supply chain, knowledge of electronic components, strong negotiation and communication skills, and Excel proficiency (Macro, Vlookup, Pivot).

Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least SPM/STPM/Certificate/Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma.
Preferable candidates with 1–3 years' experience in procurement, supply chain and material management.
Purchasing/sourcing background in EMS/OEM/ODM environment is a plus.
Basic knowledge of electronic components; excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Handle sourcing & purchasing activities on electronics materials.
Prepare new item cost for RFQs and issue POs; monitor supplier acknowledgements.
Outsource to support NPI build; ensure timely material delivery and schedule.
Search for alternative sources for sole source and long lead time components.
Input supplier price information and supplier supplying data into ERP.
