Job summary

BISSELL MALAYSIA SERVICES SDN. BHD. in Kulai (Johor) seeks a Test Technician I/II- Electronics Integration and Testing to conduct lab tests, generate detailed reports, and apply multi-disciplinary engineering principles.

The role supports lab equipment development, testing standards, and process improvements. Requirements include an AAS in Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience, plus skills in schematics, EMI testing, and board soldering.

Qualifications

• Degree minimum: AAS Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent and demonstrated experience.
• Specific concentration: Electronics, Electrical, and/or Robotics
• Experience level: 3+ years
• Ability to interpret engineering design documents (schematics, drawings, software code)
• Experience testing electro-mechanical systems with electronic controls, including embedded and application software
• Soldering skills for board repair/modification
• Experience with EMI test equipment and environmental test chambers

Responsibilities

• Conducts testing using procedures of varying complexity with accuracy and timeliness.
• Develops reports describing method of analysis, data and results, and makes recommendations.
• Integrates electronic, electrical, mechanical and software principles in testing.
• Assist in development, implementation, and documentation of BISSELL test equipment and standards.
• Attend design reviews to answer test-related questions.
• Investigate feasibility of applying data acquisition or automation to manual test processes.
