Job summary

UST Malaysia is seeking an Electrical & Electronic Validation Engineer (Fresh Graduate) to join the Product Validation team in Kulim, Kedah. You will validate hardware platforms, silicon products, and system-level solutions through tests, debugging, data analysis, and automation, gaining hands-on exposure to semiconductor technologies and high-speed interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields.
• 0-2 years of experience is acceptable for this fresh graduate role.
• Fresh graduates with relevant academic projects, internships, or lab experience are welcome.
• Experience in hardware validation, embedded systems, semiconductor testing, or system integration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute electrical, functional, and system-level validation tests for products and platforms.
• Perform hardware bring-up, validation, characterization, and debugging activities.
• Analyze test results, identify failures, and support root cause investigations.
• Collaborate with design, silicon, firmware/BIOS, and software teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain validation scripts, test plans, and automation tools.
• Document validation procedures, test reports, and technical findings.
• Support reliability, compliance, and performance testing activities.
• Participate in lab setup, equipment calibration, and validation infrastructure maintenance.
